Over time, the name "tuna" has been used to refer to various species of large, migratory fish in the family Scombridae, including the bluefin, yellowfin, and albacore tuna. **

The main difference between cheap tuna and expensive tuna lies in the quality and sourcing of the fish. Cheap tuna is often mass-produced using methods that may harm the environment and result in lower quality fish. Expensive tuna, on the other hand, is typically sourced sustainably and may be caught using more ethical practices such as pole-and-line fishing. This results in a higher quality product with better flavor and texture. Additionally, expensive tuna is often fresher and may be processed and handled with more care than cheaper alternatives. **
